Welcome to our web site!
Winsford Cricket Club play in the Meller Braggins cricket league. The Meller Braggins league forms part of the Cheshire Pyramid.
Winsford have had a cricket team since 1888 when the team was founded by ICI workers and played at the Dingle, next to the Palace Picture House (now Palace Bingo). In 1991 Winsford moved to Knights Grange to allow the Council to build the new council offices (Wyvern House).
We currently run two sides on a Saturday and one on a Sunday. They also run four junior teams covering children from the ages of 9 -19 years old.
We currently practice on a Wednesday night at Verdin School sports hall between 8 - 9pm. In the season senior practices are on a Tuesday evenings between 6.30 and 9.00pm at the cricket ground. Juniors practice on a Monday evening at the sports hall between 6.30-7.30pm.
